Mark Lanegan

The third (and perhaps the last for a while) in a series of music portraits. This guy has produced a staggering amount of good music in the last few years and collaborated with a bunch of really interesting people. It's definitely worth checking out his stuff if you don't know it. As for the portrait itself, I have mixed feelings about how it turned out. I didn't think it was interesting enough as an ink drawing, and getting the shattered glass to look right took a bit longer than expected. Still, it seems like an appropriate element considering all the anguish in his songs;"if tears were liquor I'd have drunk myself sick". Amazing.
